Frequently asked questions

Getting started & pricing

What happens after the free trial?

Choose a subscription. An order is created and our team confirms your payment manually before the subscription activates — there is no automatic instant-checkout activation for USD subscriptions yet.

How many users and projects do I get?

Each subscription tier has its own user, project, Implementing Partner and SMS-contact limits — see the full comparison table on the Pricing page rather than a number quoted here, since it varies by plan.

What is the difference between an organization and a project?

An organization is your tenant — everything lives inside it. A project is one programme within that organization, with its own countries, Results Framework, workplan and reporting periods. One organization can run several projects at once.

Programme coverage

Can it support non-agriculture projects?

Yes. Its modular forms, indicators and workflows support health, water, humanitarian, education, youth employment, policy and other sectors.

Can METRA GET support donor reporting requirements?

Yes. METRA GET provides configurable programme, results, indicator, workplan and reporting tools that can be adapted to different donor and programme requirements. Organizations should configure their frameworks against the requirements of their applicable award, contract or reporting guidance, which remains the authoritative source.

How do Implementing Partners work?

A project can deliver Direct, through one or more Implementing Partners, or both — assigned per activity and budget line. Each partner's users see only their own activities, results and evidence; the Lead organization sees the consolidated picture.

Data collection

Does METRA GET work without internet?

Field forms can be installed on a phone and saved offline. Records, GPS and photos synchronize when connectivity returns.

Can I design my own data collection forms?

Yes, through Form Builder — categorical, numeric, checkbox-group and repeatable-section fields, with validation rules, and an optional direct link to an indicator so a form response can update it without re-entry.

How are beneficiaries and services tracked?

A beneficiary is registered once per organization and joined to one or more projects; every service or event record references that one person, so "unique people reached" and "service events delivered" stay two distinct, correctly labelled figures.

Measurement & reporting

How are indicator targets and actuals handled?

A target is what was planned for a period; an actual is what was genuinely reported. Achievement is always actual ÷ target for the same period — a missing target or actual is shown as missing, never silently treated as zero or hidden.

Can I break indicators down by gender, district or other categories?

Yes — disaggregation groups the same underlying records by a real field already in your data, and always reconciles back to the same total the indicator itself reports.

What does Report Builder actually produce?

A periodic report combining narrative sections you write with data sections that populate live from the project's own indicators, workplan, budget and reach for the report's own period — reordered sections stay in that order through Preview, Print/PDF and Word export.

Are dashboards live, or a static export?

Dashboards are built from the same underlying data every other part of the platform reads, so a dashboard figure and a Report Builder figure for the same period are never two different answers.

Data, security & integrations

Who owns our data?

Your organization's data belongs to your organization. It is organization-scoped in the platform's data model, and no other tenant's users or processes can read it.

How is organizational data protected?

Records are organization-scoped, permissions are role-based, project scope is enforced, actions are audited and production secrets remain outside source code.

What can METRA GET connect to?

Salesforce and Airtable are accepted connectors. Kobo, ODK and DHIS2 connectors are accepted but need your own provider credentials configured. A token-authenticated Power BI/Excel data feed and a generic REST API connector are also available for other systems reachable over HTTPS.

Billing & support

Can I use only Bulk SMS?

Yes. Bulk SMS is an optional, prepaid, pay-as-you-use add-on, independent of project and beneficiary modules. Top up your SMS Wallet, upload opted-in contacts from Excel, group them and send campaigns.

Are SMS charges included in the subscription?

No. Subscription prices cover platform access; telecom/SMS delivery charges depend on the connected provider and message segments.

How do I get help if Learn doesn't cover my question?

There is no separate ticketing portal yet. Use the Contact page to reach the team directly — a real person follows up, not an automated response.
